Welcome to the Secondary Resource Program at LBPC
Teacher: Mrs. Sally Srichurat
I’m Mrs. Sally Srichurat, and I have been part of the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) since 2014. I joined the Lake Balboa College Prep family in the Fall of 2022. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) and my teaching credential as an Education Specialist from California State University, Northridge (CSUN).
As the Resource Teacher, I am dedicated to supporting students from 6th to 12th grade who benefit from additional help in their English and Math classes. My goal is to provide individualized support through small group instruction, one-on-one assistance, and targeted interventions to ensure every student can access the curriculum and succeed academically.
I work closely with classroom teachers, support staff, and families to create personalized learning plans that meet each student's unique needs. Whether students need extra assistance with organization, study skills, or understanding key concepts, I’m here to guide them every step of the way.
Support Offered:
- English and Math Assistance: Focused on improving core academic skills and ensuring students build a strong foundation for success.
- Individualized Education Plans (IEP) Support: Collaborating with families and IEP teams to create and implement strategies that address students' specific learning needs.
- Self-Monitoring Tools: Helping students develop the skills necessary for independent learning, self-regulation, and time management.
- Collaboration with General Education Teachers: Ensuring that accommodations and modifications are applied in the classroom to meet each student's unique learning style.
I believe in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment where students feel empowered to reach their full potential. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. Together, we can help every student succeed!
