Mrs. Carrie Wan

Welcome back! And welcome to all my students! I am excited to get to know all my students and looking forward to a productive school year. My name is Mrs. Carrie Wan and I will be your child’s History and/or Academic Decathlon/Pentathlon Coach.

I received my degree in History at California State University, Sacramento, and then my teaching credential at California State University, Northridge. I am married to my High School sweetheart for over 15 years and have one daughter: Annabelle. I have been with LAUSD since 2007 and here at Lake Balboa College Prep Magnet since 2018. Go Cougars!

I welcome and encourage open communication with parents, counselors, students, and teachers.  Please do not hesitate to email me, even in another language, should you have any questions or concerns relating to your child or my class.  My email is [email protected].

Again, I want to welcome you to my class.  I am looking forward to working with you and your child throughout the upcoming school year!
