Cory Harrington's Teacher Page

Welcome to the 2024-25 Academic Year at Lake Balboa College Prep. Magnet! I'm Cory Harrington, 6th. Grade Math / Science Teacher and MS CC Coach.  This will be my 32nd. year in LAUSD, where I've worked as Teacher, Coordinator, and Instructional Coach.  I'm excited to be in my sixth year as a math and science teacher here at Lake Balboa!  In my spare time I enjoy gardening and reading.  Our 6th. grade math and science programs feature rigorous, challenging, but fun curricula that provide a strong foundation for future work in Middle and High School grade levels.  I encourage you to maintain good attendance, participate in class, and keep up with individual and group assignments!
